Description

Sano Red is a nebulizing solution specially formulated to support the respiratory system of horses suffering from nosebleeds or exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH). EIPH has been associated with poor performance in sport and race horses, and can cause long-term damage to the lungs.

It can be used for all horses that may need relief from airway bleeding or congestion.

When using a nebulizer (such as Flexineb E3), the protocol is 5 ml administered twice a day, undiluted by nebulization.

Sano-Red is indicated for use over a 10-day period, repeatable as often as necessary. It can be beneficial at the start of training and during intense work and competition, as the special blend of essential oils can help prevent bleeding and promote tissue healing after a bleeding episode.

Essential oils of Khella, Ciste ladanifer, Myrtle green, Thyme linalol, Eucalyptus globulus and lemon, lavender and Geranium, Rosemary cineole and Siberian fir.

The main properties concern hypoxemia, with bronchodilator (Khella, Eucalyptus globulus) and perialveolar circulatory (kinetic) effects, antihemorrhagic (astringent) and healing effects, fungicide and immunotonic effects (Thyme linalol, Geranium, Lavender), anti-inflammatory, decongestant effects linked to drainage of interstitial edema (Geranium, Rosemary), prevention of alveolar fluid accumulation (Corymbia citriodora), prevention of alveolar interstitial fibrosis (Myrtle, Cistus and Siberian Fir).
